The Alabama Computer Forensic Laboratories provide expert analysis, consultation, and support to the criminal justice community. The ACFL strives to be the most effective and efficient computer forensic laboratory in the State and to deliver the most accurate and comprehensive results to the District Attorneys in support of their efforts to successfully prosecute offenders. The ACFL utilizes only highly-trained and talented subject-matter experts who adhere to the highest ethical standards. The goals of the ACFL are to: provide thorough examinations of digital evidence in a timely manner, foster cooperation between all entities of criminal justice as related to digital evidence, assist in all phases of prosecution, provide training in digital evidence to the criminal justice community, and further the research and development of new and improved methods of examining digital evidence.
